The Bachus & Schanker Cares Foundation was honored to support an unforgettable evening celebrating 40 years of healing, hope, and impact at ChildSafe Colorado. Surrounded by an inspiring community of supporters, the event raised an incredible $245,000 to further ChildSafe Colorado’s vital mission.

The evening recognized four decades of transformative work helping individuals and families heal from abuse, while also paying tribute to retiring co-founder Valerie Macri-Lind. Her vision and compassion have guided ChildSafe Colorado since its founding, creating a lasting legacy of care and support that has changed countless lives.

Funds raised during the event will directly support ChildSafe Colorado’s therapy programs, which serve children impacted by abuse, adults working through childhood trauma, and non-offending family members walking alongside their loved ones on the path to healing. These services provide a safe, supportive environment where recovery and resilience can take root.
